Terms of Service
The rules and guidelines for using the BotPiper platform.
Last updated: February 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BotPiper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using BotPiper on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use BotPiper. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all actions taken through your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
4. The Service
BotPiper provides a managed AI workspace platform where you can create and configure AI agents, connect messaging channels and third-party integrations, manage tasks, upload resources, and interact with AI models from multiple providers — all within a hardware-isolated environment.
The Service includes access to AI models provided by third parties (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, MiniMax, xAI, and others). Your use of these models through BotPiper is also subject to the respective providers' usage policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use BotPiper only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to:
- Generate, store, or distribute illegal content
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate others
- Send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited bulk communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' workspaces or our infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or service
- Circumvent usage limits, billing systems, or access controls
- Generate content that violates the usage policies of the underlying AI model providers
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including suspension or termination — against anyone who violates these rules.
6. Your Content
Ownership: You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store within your workspace ("Your Content"). BotPiper does not claim ownership of Your Content.
License: By using the Service, you grant BotPiper a limited license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes sending your prompts to AI model providers to generate responses.
No Training: We do not use Your Content to train AI models or for any purpose beyond delivering the Service to you.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for Your Content and ensuring it does not violate any laws, third-party rights, or these Terms.
7. Subscriptions & Billing
Plans: BotPiper offers paid subscription plans (Basic, Standard, and Premium) billed monthly. Each plan includes a set amount of AI token credits per month. Plan details and pricing are available on our Pricing page.
AI Token Credits: AI token credits are consumed when your agents interact with AI models. Included credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Additional credits can be purchased separately and do not expire.
Payment: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on each billing cycle. All amounts are in USD.
No Refunds: All payments — including subscription fees and AI token credit purchases — are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated amounts for partial months, unused credits, or early cancellation.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your workspace remains accessible until the end of the paid period, after which it will be suspended. Workspace data is retained for 30 days after suspension to allow for reactivation.
Price Changes: We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Intellectual Property
The BotPiper platform — including its design, code, branding, logos, documentation, and all associated materials — is owned by BotPiper and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
The BotPiper name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of BotPiper. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
BotPiper integrates with third-party services including AI model providers, payment processors, messaging platforms, and productivity tools. Your use of these integrations may be subject to the third parties' own terms and policies. BotPiper is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BotPiper and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to BotPiper in the 12 months preceding the claim.
AI Output Disclaimer: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. BotPiper does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content generated by AI agents in your workspace. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output before relying on it.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BotPiper and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Termination
By You: You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon closure, your subscription is cancelled and your workspace data is deleted after 30 days.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for more than 12 months.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your workspace data 30 days after termination. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
16. General
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BotPiper regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
Notices: We will send notices to the email address associated with your account. You are responsible for keeping your email address current.
